Want More Intimacy? Try a Clear Request
You have dropped hints all week, and your partner still seems unaware. Meanwhile, they may believe you are asking for something completely different. A specific invitation gives both of you a better chance of understanding each other.
Ask for what you actually want
“Could we sit together for ten minutes without our phones?” is clearer than “You never make time for me.” If you want affection, name the kind of affection. Do not make a request for a hug stand in for an unspoken expectation of sex.
Leave space for an answer
Your partner may agree, suggest another time or decline. A useful request is something they can respond to freely. If a need keeps going unmet, discuss that pattern calmly rather than making the hints louder.
