An Evening Routine That Leaves You Some Energy
By the time the kitchen is clean and the messages are answered, the evening is gone. You may want connection but have nothing left to give. A calmer routine starts with deciding what genuinely has to happen tonight.
Reduce one source of rushing
Prepare something for tomorrow earlier, share a chore or set a stopping point for work. Choose a wind-down activity you enjoy rather than another demanding routine. You do not need to perfect the whole evening at once.
Let rest and closeness coexist
Time together can be a chat, a cuddle or simply sharing a quiet room. It need not lead to sex. If poor sleep persists, seek advice rather than adding more rules to a routine that already feels exhausting.
