When a Busy Season Leaves Little Room for Desire
Work runs late, your mind stays on the next deadline and sex becomes something you keep postponing. You may still love your partner and miss intimacy. Desire can feel different when your days leave little space to recover.
Tell your partner what is happening
“I'm stretched thin and finding it hard to switch off” offers more clarity than repeated vague excuses. Ask how the period is affecting them, too. Look at responsibilities and time together rather than making one person responsible for reviving the mood.
Make a small amount of room
Choose some pressure-free time together and protect it from work if you can. Do not make sex another task to complete. If low desire continues beyond the stressful period or concerns you, discuss it with a doctor.
