Could Your Medicines Matter? What to Bring to Your Appointment
You remember your daily prescription, then suddenly recall the sleep aid, the occasional tablet and the supplement in the kitchen cupboard. When you are discussing sexual changes, that fuller picture can be useful. You do not need to remember every name on the spot.
Make it easy to remember
Take photos of the labels or bring a short list with doses and how often you use them. Mention anything that started or changed around the time you noticed a difference in desire or erections. Include non-prescription products, too.
Ask before changing anything
Some medicines can affect sexual function, but the timing alone does not prove the cause. Ask your doctor or pharmacist what is worth reviewing. Do not skip doses or stop a prescribed medicine to experiment; discuss safer options for both your health and your sex life.
