A Restful Weekend Does Not Need a Perfect Romantic Plan
The weekend arrives carrying every chore and every hope for time together. You may feel pressure to relax, have fun and reconnect before Monday. That is a lot to ask of two days, especially when you start them tired.
Choose what would actually feel restful
Ask whether each person wants company, activity or time alone. Pick one or two plans and leave some space unfilled. Agree on essential chores so they do not hover over every quiet moment.
Let intimacy be an invitation
You can make room for closeness without deciding it must happen. A pleasant weekend may include sex, affection or simply feeling less rushed together. If the plan becomes another performance target, simplify it until there is room to enjoy being there.
