Intimacy Does Not Have to Wait Until Bedtime

FORTION JOURNAL · DESIRE PATTERNS

You finally turn out the lights, and one of you is already asleep. If this keeps happening, the timing may be worth discussing. People have different energy levels and schedules; there is no required hour for being close.

Compare your comfortable windows

Ask when each person tends to feel relaxed and available. A weekend morning or an earlier evening may suit better than the end of a long day. Availability still does not create an obligation to have sex.

Plan an opportunity, not an outcome

Set aside time to enjoy each other's company and see what you both want. If desire remains different, acknowledge it rather than assuming a new schedule will solve everything. The plan should make room for connection without turning the calendar into a demand.
