Ask before assuming
Talk about what each person is comfortable with, including whether they want to share at all. Then check the instructions for the exact model. Cleaning a product does not automatically mean that sharing is appropriate.
Keep the decision easy to change
If the guidance is unclear, ask the manufacturer before using it together. Follow any advice on compatible barriers and cleaning between users or body areas. Agreement on one occasion does not mean either person has agreed to every future use.
